A hard pressed, full flavoured, powerful and spicy Scottish cheddar cheese, that is hand-made by the Reade family on the Isle of Mull from the milk of their own Friesian cows. The dairy is located close to a whisky distillery and it is said that the cows enjoy the left over mashed grains, which may add to its distinctive flavour. This is one of the stronger cheddar style cheeses in stock.
