Delivery Information

We use DPD couriers for a next working day delivery service. If an e-mail address is provided on the order, DPD will send out a dispatch email with the courier’s information and the tracking details. If a mobile number is provided on the order, DPD will send out a text with the delivery window time slot. You can contact them directly on the morning of the delivery if you need to adjust the delivery time for that day. A signature as proof of delivery is preferred but not always necessary. As our products are perishable we instruct the couriers to leave the parcel somewhere safe or with a neighbour if no reply. A card will be left indicating where the parcel has been left. Please feel free to put brief delivery instructions when you place your order on our website.

Once the cheese has been dispatched we advise against delaying the delivery with DPD so that you receive the cheese at its freshest. If you are going to be away or out on the day of delivery, please notify us at The Cheese Society directly a couple of days before the delivery is due and we can adjust the delivery date for you.

Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday each week. Please note that we don’t deliver on Bank Holidays or the day following a Bank Holiday.

Our next day delivery service in the UK is available on most products if ordered before 11.00am and is usually charged at a flat rate to a single address for up to 5kg with prices starting from £5.50 (inc. VAT) within UK Mainland (depending on area). Highlands and Islands may incur a delivery surcharge and can take up to two days to deliver. The shipping cost will be calculated when the delivery postcode is entered at the checkout.

We offer free delivery on purchases over £60 (including any discounts that might be applicable).

A work place delivery address can be requested if preferred.
