Made at Sharpham House, home to the creamery. This cheese was first made in the early 1990’s at the Ticklemore dairy, Rustic production moved to the new Sharpham Dairy in 2003 and
has become one of the most popular cheeses in the range. Crumbly in texture, golden in colour due to the use of Jersey cow’s milk and a delicate, slightly citrus flavour, Sharpham Rustic
is irresistible when served with oatcakes and a sweet chutney along with a glass (or two) of crisp white wine. A delicious alternative to a Yarg or a Wensleydale with a delightful springtime freshness.
Please note all cheeses are hand cut, therefore the weights listed are approximate. We work very hard to cut them as accurately as we can!
