This soft little cheese has a fine, pink, slightly wrinkled rind with a smooth paste and ivory, creamy texture. This is a cheese with a lot of character and is best enjoyed simply with rustic bread.
The Breton Marsh in north Vendée is a rich pasture of grass and flora that makes it a unique place. The animals’ are all fed on the surrounding meadows, either summer pastures or winter hay. The milk produced is of an excellent standard creating these perfect little cheeses with great care and respect for the land.
