Made by Cryer and Stott, this delicious blue cheese was created especially for the British Embassy in Paris to celebrate 200 years of the Embassy in France and was offered to the Queen at this prestigious event in 2016. That same year the cheese won Gold in the Best New Blue and a Silver in the Best Blue category at The World Cheese Awards, which were held in San Sebastien in Spain. Usually matured for around 15 weeks, producing buttery and long lasting flavours, a soft rich texture with a gentle blue kick and a flavour that develops with maturity, that doesn’t overpower. Try with chunks of stem ginger for an unusual taste contrast.
