Fruity, strong and full-flavoured with a pungent smell. An award-winning cheese with an orange cider-washed rind and firmly compacted smooth textured interior, that is almost Gouda like in style yet with much more kick and punch. Hand made by the Teifi cheese-maker, John Savage in Llandysul in Carmarthenshire in the heart of Wales it then goes on to be nurtured and matured at Eastside in East Sussex by Pat Jackson. The finished cheese is a classic for any self-respecting cheeseboard, where a strong pungent cheese is the order of the day.
The individual cheese weighs approx 500g / half cheese approx 250g.
