Delivery Information

We deliver to every postcode in the UK Tuesday to Friday each week (excluding Tuesdays after Bank Holidays). Orders are delivered by APC Couriers, your cheese is cut fresh to order, wrapped and packed by hand and delivered on the day you choose. If you provide a mobile number when you place your order, APC will send you a delivery time text message so you know when to expect it. They are advised to leave the parcel safe or with a neighbour if you are not in to receive it. If neither is an option, they will re-attempt the delivery the following day.

Delivery Prices

MAINLAND UK – Sent by APC next day couriers  –  £5.75 – orders over £50 will receive free delivery

NORTHERN SCOTLAND & HIGHLANDS – Sent by APC couriers  – £12 (one to two-day delivery depending on postcode)


Please note Royal Mail charge this rate per 1.2kg, therefore, if you are ordering a lot of cheese the price will adjust based on the weight of your order. Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland, Islands and remote areas may be on 2-day delivery service. Certain Offshore Islands have a limited number of ferry crossings so we may contact you to arrange the appropriate day of delivery so that you receive your cheese as fresh as possible.

Free delivery T&C’s: For free delivery over £50 the total value of the transaction must total £50 after any vouchers or discount codes. Certain areas will still incur a delivery cost due to the time taken to deliver the parcel. These areas include Northern Scotland, Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. This will be calculated once the postcode is input at the checkout.

Selecting your Delivery Date

If you are ordering for a gift or special occasion we advise to always allow an extra day in case of any unforeseen courier delays.

We advise customers to leave instructions on where your order can be safely left if you are not going to be in – you will find a delivery notes box on our checkout page. If there is no safe place, APC will endeavour to leave it with a neighbour.

APC will attempt to deliver your parcel twice, if you are not in on both occasions to take the delivery and it can’t be left safe then it will go back to the depot and cannot be reattempted due to the perishable nature of the products. We suggest sending your cheese to a work address if you feel delivery is difficult or the consignment can’t be left safe (ideal for London-based deliveries).

On arrival of your cheese, open the box, remove the ice pack if there is one (these are included in warmer months and will gradually defrost during transit – this is normal) and put your cuts of cheese in the fridge to chill and firm up after being in transit.

Planning for the Best-Before Date

Our cheeses are cut fresh to order, once cut we put a 12 day best before date on all of our cheeses. Certain cheeses will last longer than this advised date. We always advise eating your cheese as fresh as possible. Each item will have a best before date on the packaging when it arrives.

Recycling our Packaging

We are very mindful of using too much plastic in our packaging and want to make our boxes and their contents eco-friendly. Therefore we have made a conscious effort to make as much of our packaging as recyclable as we can.
