Petit Gres des Vosges Kirsch
Grès des Vosges is produced in the department of Lorraine in the north east of France known as the Alsace region. The cheese is matured in three stages, during each stage the cheeses are regularly washed in Kirsch (a cherry brandy of the region) which further intensifies the aroma and flavours of the cheese. The interior paste is white, smooth, rich and velvety, becoming yielding and unctuous with age. To finish the cheese is decorated with a sprig of fern.
